I have been practicing yoga off and on since I took my first class at Mesa Community College (MCC) in 2010. Shortly after that first class, I knew I wanted to be a yoga teacher... when I retire from the corporate lifestyle.
In 2012, I graduated from MCC and pursued my bachelor’s in information systems security at University of Phoenix. I stopped practicing yoga regularly and dove in head first to school and career path, forgetting to live mindfully.
Fast forward to 2017, after working in IT Security for years, I found burnout. I knew I needed a change. I hated my job with a fiery passion. I felt powerless and victim to this cruel world. Therapy and antidepressants didn’t improve my situation. I kept looking for something or someone to help me through this horrible situation and help me find happiness. I needed someone who didn’t exist yet. I decided it was my purpose to fill that demand! Shortly after this epiphany, I took the jump, quit my corporate career, started practicing mindful living through yoga, enrolled in Yoga Teacher Training, specific training found below.
I am the person you’ve been looking for! I am here to help you cultivate the happiness you deserve. Life is too short to miserable at work. Let me be your guide! I provide an integrative coaching experience through exploring and setting personal and professional goals, private yoga for stress reduction and pain relief, and relaxation through sound healing with singing bowls.
These days, you will find me out in my Zen garden, practicing yoga at local studios (teachers need classes, too!), hiking a local trail with our dogs, eating at a local brewery, dancing or hanging out with friends, and watching movies at home with my husband.
